The society strives for several goals. The main goal is to project a strong spiritual, Christian togetherness among members and their families.The Altar & Rosary Society serves the Parish in many ways: We help pay for new vestments and altar needs. We do special projects for the parish. Provide Christmas gifts for shut in's and nursing homes. Remember all occasions with cards year round and provide baked goods for the Parish Fellowship Festival and many other events that take place during the year. One very important ministry we have is our "Love In Action", a group which provides funeral dinners. This committee calls on volunteers to provide food for the dinners. If you work and cannot bring food, a monetary donation is welcome to help defray costs of paper products, etc. Meetings are held the first Tuesday evening of each month except January, June, July, and August. Details of each meeting are printed in the church bulletin. Membership is open to all women of the parish and girls completing high school. Annual dues are $5.00 and everyone is invited to the meetings.
